A Glance of Indochina Tour – 9 Days

Day 01: Arrival Hanoi – Vietnam (D)

• Pick up at the airport then transfer to your hotel in the city central in Hanoi.
• In the evening, enjoy the welcome dinner in the finest local restaurant in town.

Day 02: Hanoi city tour (B, L)

• Having breakfast at the hotel and enjoy a full day City Tour. The visit includes most of the city's outstanding historical and cultural sites.
• Hanoi Opera House and Hoan Kiem Lake
• Temple of Literature, built in 11th Century and the country’s first University
• The complex of Ho Chi Minh historical sites, also called the political center of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and One Pillar Pagoda. We then visit one of the museum in Hanoi, you can choose one of them (Museum of History, Museum of Ethnology, Museum of Fine Art, Hoa Lo prison which is also known as the “Hanoi Hilton” ). Later we will do one hour cyclo and enjoy Water Puppet Show- the traditional performance dated 11th century before back to your hotel.
• Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B, L, D)

• After breakfast, you will have over 3 hours drive along the country side of the Red River Delta to the UNESCO world’s heritage site of Halong Bay.
• A traditional style Vietnamese Junk Cruise is waiting your arrival and will set sail at noon today. Lunch will be served on board amidst spectacular views of the bay.
• Today you will visit one of the largest caves in Halong Bay and a beach stop where perhaps you may want to take a swim or dip in the water of the East Sea (Bien Dong).
• Tonight enjoy a fresh seafood dinner on board your junk.

Day 04: Halong Bay Cruise - Hanoi – Bac Ninh (Quan Ho Folk Song) (B, L) / Brunch

• Participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply watch the sunrise over the magnificent bay. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or juice before setting out to the near- by cave on row boat.
• Return back to the Cruise, where breakfast is served, while sailing around Bay Tu Long bay where the film “Indochine” was made. Your cruise will end at noontime and back to the pier. You depart for Bac Ninh Province to have more knowledge of Vietnamese’s history and culture. You are welcome at Do temple for visiting. This temple was building during the Le Dynasty and has been altered several times since. The major reconstruction took place under the reign of Le Trung Hung in the 17th century. Then you enjoy traditional music show “Quan Ho” or called Quan Ho Folk song. Back to Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi - Vientiane (B) Flight

• Take the morning flight to Vientiane, upon arrival, our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and pick you to hotel in Vientiane
• Rest of the day, just relax or take the pleasant walk around your hotel area.

Day 06: Vientiane City Tour (B)

• Today, there will be a tour of Vientiane. Although Vientiane is the capital city, it has the feel of a small provincial town. The wide boulevards are almost devoid of traffic and with its temples; the city retains the feel of another age. Our tour includes visits to the major temples of Vat Sisaket, Vat Phrakeo and the impressive That Luang Stupa, the country?s most important monument. We will also see the Arch of Triumph, the National Museum and the main market. In the evening, following the meal you can enjoy an evening stroll along the banks of the Mekong River.
• Day 07: Vientiane - Siem Reap - Angkor Tour (B) Flight
• Have breakfast in the hotel and take the morning flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, our guide and driver will pick you from the airport for hotel in Siem Reap.
• Afternoon, we visit Angkor Thom temples: Victory Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace, Takeo and TaProhm. Lunch served at local restaurant. Afternoon enjoy the spectacular architecture and sculprure of the World Heritage at Angkor Wat and view the sunset over the Angkor complex on the top of Phnom Bakheng Mt.

Day 08: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat (B)

• Enjoy Angkor Wat Sunrise and spend the whole morning to explore the greatest fine-art of Angkor Empire at Banteay-Srey temple. Afternoon visit the grand circuit of temples: Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srong, Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan.

Day 09: Siem Reap – Departure (B)

• Free in your own until your departure time. Driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure.
