The only place to experience an authentic family-run stay at the doors of the Vietnamese tourism’s major highlight: Hoi An Ancient Town’s UNESCO World Heritage; and to enjoy the genuine Hoi An style, friendliness and way of life.

Two days in Hoi An Ancient Town, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

 

Day 01 HOIAN – COOKING CLASS (-/L/D)

Pick-up at your hotel. 
Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. We board the boat for a leisurely cruise along the Hoi An River. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
Enjoy a cooking class today at a private 'garden house' known locally as 'nha vuon'. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.
Transfer to Hoian in the afternoon. Night in hoian.
 

Day 02 HOI AN -  TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tra Que vegetable village. 

From past to present, Tra Que vegetable village was famous for over 20 types of leaf vegetables and herbs, especially a variety of delicious vegetables and nowhere as delicious as such as basil, perilla, etc. When the vegetables mixed together will meet five flavours: spicy, sour, sweet, bitter, acrid. Thanks to that special flavor, Tra Que vegetable has contributed to the popularity of rustic food in Hoi An and Quang Nam.Onions and cilantro combined with jellyfish salad, sour soup; cabbage and coriander, etc used to cook pot; flagrant knotwed, basil, green onion used in mixture mussel dish in Nam Cam area. Quang noodles must eat with Tra Que vegetables to see the delicious combination of natural flavors.

Spend time with a local farming family to learn about their daily lifestyle and the flavors of fresh Vietnamese cuisine. Walk along shady lanes to the village of Tra Que and join the farmers as they work on their vegetable garden. You will be shown how to prepare the local delicacy tam huu.

After lunch, visit Hoian ancient town with the Japanese bridge, the Phung Hung Old Merchant House, Quang Dong Assembly and handicraft center. 

End of the tour at the late afternoon.
