MYANMAR BEACH TOUR 17 DAYS
Day 01 ARRIVAL IN YANGON
Arrival in Yangon! Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. After make a pause, our guide will bring you to enjoy the warmly welcome dinner with traditional theatre. Overnight in Yangon
Day 02 YANGON
In the morning your tour guide will take you full day sightseeing in Yangon. The tour starts at the city centre; You will be firstly introduced the Buddhism at the gilded Sule pagoda, dating back to 2000 years, then stroll around the colonial buildings and street vendors along the road. After visiting Botataung Pagoda, where you can see the relief chamber, continue to Kyauk-htet-gyi reclining Buddha, 72 m long and 19 m high, Karaweik Hall to observe the Burmese architecture, then China Town. Then visit to the magnificent Shwe-da-gon Pagoda both daylight and electric light.
Day 03 YANGON - BAGAN
Fly to Bagan. Visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, the most venerated one, Gu-pyauk gyi temple, very nice original fresco, Hti-lo-min-lo Temple, Kah-min-ga, for panoramic view, Ananda Temple, the finest art. After lunch, visit to the traditional Lacquer-ware workshop to observe how they make good quality Lacquer products, Manuhar Temple, where three huge seated Buddha and reclining Buddha are placed, Gubyauk gyi, the finest Fresco in Bagan temples, Shwe-gu-gyi, the best panoramic view at the evening. Then take a horse cart to Pya-that -gyi for sunset.
Day 04 BAGAN
You adjust the tour programme for today with your tour guide. A car, bicycles and our tour guide stand by for sightseeing. You can enjoy the sunrise from your hotel or near if you are fit and fresh in the morning and you can freely visit the temples by bicycle or visit some temple such as Su-lar-ma-ni, Dha-ma-yan-gyi, by car with your guide. Lunch will be at the nice river view restaurant.
Day 05 BAGAN-INLE LAKE (flight)
Today you fly to Heho, the gateway for your excursion to the picturesque Inle, surrounded by the mountain ranges. On the way, photo stop at Shwe-yan-pyay wooden monastery. You arrive at the jetty to transfer to your Hotel on the lakeside by motor boat. After check in the hotel, explore the floating gardens and stilt-house villages, jumping cat monastery (ngaphe) and village life at Khaung-dein village. Go back to Hotel.
Day 06 INLE-INDEIN
This morning you make a boat ride to Indein through the floating garden, rice field, bamboo forest and monasteries beside. Very nice boat ride along the stream. Arrive at Indein pagoda complex, 1094 small temples around the main temple. Go back to the lake for Lunch. After lunch continue your tour to Inn-paw-kone village to visit silk weaving, Lotus weaving, cheroot workshop, blacksmith and the most venerated Phaw-daw-oo pagoda.
Day 07 INLE-YANGON (flight)
You leave Inle in the early morning and fly to Yangon. Visit Bogyoke Market and after Lunch leisure at the rest of the day in Yangon.
Day 08 (YANGON_SITTWE) AIR MANDALAY
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and fly to Sittwe. After check in your hotel, visit first the cultural museum where you will be introduced about the historical background of the region and the monastery next to the museum to see the best collection of antique items. Overnight in Sittwe
Day 09 SITTWE-MRAUK OO
About 7 am in the morning, you proceed to the jetty to continue to Mrauk U by ferry boat. It will take about 5 hours. Lunch will be provided on board. Enjoy your Boat trip along the Kalatan River through the several villages, farming, fishermen and big number of birds.
After Lunch, visit famous 80000 Temple, one of the most well preserved, Andaw Thein, Lay-myat-nar temple, Htote-kan-thein, 90000 Temple, archaeological museum and the palace site.
Day 10 MRAUK OO
After breakfast, drive to Vesali, ancient city of Rakhine and visit Great Vesali Image, 327 AD, huge Buddha Image made from one piece of sand stone, as well as the remaining ruins of the palace site.
After Lunch visit the palace site and archaeological museum and explore a typical village of Thet tribe and enjoy the short canoe trip through the beautiful landscape in the Laymyo River.
Day 11 MRAUK-SITTWE-THANDWE
This morning you will visit the local market first and Ban-doo-la monastery to see the big collection of antique Buddha images. Transfer to jetty for the boat trip back to catch the flight to Ngapali Beach. You may visit one of the villages for a while on the way to Sittwe if the time aloud you.
Day 12,13,14,15 in NGAPALI
Ngapali is a great beach destination. It stretches about 10 km long and famous for its white sand and turquoise clean water. There is no noisy bar and disco. It is far away from crowded tourist area and is an ideal place for who love sea, sun, sand and swimming, very natural unspoiled beach.
You can hire a boat to explore the islands nearby. Or visit the villages by walking through the palms. Taste the local seafood dishes in a restaurant within walking distance from your hotel. Very delicious!! Or enjoy western or Asian cuisine in your hotel. Relax your beautiful days in Nagapali.
Day 16 NGAPALI - YANGON
