Join us as we travel into the heart and soul of Indochina. Starting off in Vietnam, cruise through dramatic karst scenery on a boat tour of Halong Bay, step back into the world of the country's last emperors in Hue, soak up the old-world charm of Hoi An and the worth living city- Danang and be awed by the endless energy of Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau Province. In Cambodia, discover the country's fascinating history and culture in Phnom Penh's heaving streets and in the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor. Combining highlights of both countries, the Best of Vietnam and Cambodia tour will open your eyes to the delights of Indochina and leave you awe-struck by these magical locations.
Day 01 HANOI (-/L/-)
Arrival at Noi Bai international airport. Pick up and transfer to the city. City tour of Hanoi which includes a rickshaw tours in the Old district Hanoi, a visit of Hochiminh Mausoleum (out side) and the One Pillar Pagoda. Visit the Temple of Literature - built in 1070 and considered the first university of Vietnam. Lunch. Afternoon,

Day 02 HANOI - HALONG (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure in a boat for a cruise in HalongBay, a World Natural Heritage composed of
thousands of magnificent islets in as many curious shapes and forms. Arrival in Halong pier. Take the boat trip on the Bay. The cruise ispunctuated with a visit of the beautiful "CelestialPalace" grottoes and optional sea bathing. Seafood lunch on board. Night on boat.
Day 03 HALONG – HANOI (B/-/D)
Light breakfast on boat. Debarquement. Return to Hanoi. Visit But Thap Pagoda, one of the most ancient pagoda in Vietnam. Evening entertainment with the Water puppet shows, a uniquely Vietnamese art performance. Dinner and night in Hanoi.
Day 04 HANOI - HUE (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Noi Bai international airport to Hue.
Visit of the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden city in the afternoon.
Royal dinner in Hue.
Night in Hue.
DAY O5 - HUE
Breakfast at hotel.
Boat cruise on the PerfumeRiver to Thien Mu pagoda, one of the main institutions for Buddhism in Vietnam. Continue by boat on the PerfumRiver to visit Emperor Ming Mang’s tomb. Visit Dong Ba market. Dinner in ancient house in the Citadel.
Night in Hue.
Day 06 HUE - DANANG - HOI AN (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Danang via Hai Van pass (CloudPass) Lang Co Beach. Arrival Hoi An.
Visit of Hoi An, which was one of the most prosperous seaports during many past centu ries. Pacing along the narrow winding streets takes you across the Japanese bridge, the Phung Hung Old Merchant House, Quang Dong Assembly and handicraft center.
Dinner and night in Hoi An.
If timing permits, visit Hoi An in the night of the full moon – the town is lit up with thousands of lanterns, locals dress up in traditional costume, and music and dance shows are performed throughout the old town.
Day 07 HOI AN – TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE – COOKING CLASS (B/-/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Traque village in the morning and excersice to plant vegetable with teh way of farmers here.
In the after noon, take a part in a cooking class in Red Bridge restaurant. Fun & interesting half-day learning about Vietnamese food and the Hoi An way of life. Already in its 7th year this popular tour is listed in all the major guidebooks. You will be to have chance to visit Hoi An’s colourful central market, boat trip on the Hoi An River, herb garden walk, 2 hours hand on cooking class, and finish with dinner. Dinner and night in Hoi An.
Day 08 HOI AN - DAD- SAIGON –CUCHI - SAIGON (B/-/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Danang airport and flight to Saigon. Welcome upon arrival. Transfer to visit Cuchi tunnel. Return to Saigon. Visit Saigon with the Old Colonial Residential District and discovery of the city center adorned with elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings including the Hotel de Ville (City Hall), Opera House, Notre Dame Basilica, Post Office. Dinner on boat on the Saigon River. Night in Saigon.
Day 09 SAIGON –CAI BE– MEKONG LODGE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning departure for the Mekong Delta, a vast fertile delta which produces most of Vietnam's rice. Arrive in
Cai Be. Greeting at Cai Be harbor and boat trip transfer to Mekong Lodge. Check-in bungalows
Lunch is served in the nice restaurant with the Vietnamese day-menu. From 15h00pm: afternoon cycling tour to Tân Phong island, go to one of the orchard: approx. 10km along village paths, in passing 3 wooden ferries, in about 2 hours. Cooking class in the evening & dinner in restaurant. Riverside Bar are open until mid-night.
Dinner and night in Mekong Lodge.
Day 10 CAI BE– SAI GON (B/-/D)
Breakfast.
07:00 – 08:00am: breakfast in the restaurant.
From 08:00am: boat trip to the bustling floating market, visit handicraft villages, and Cai Be market on land, then transferred to Mekong Lodge. 11:30am: check out. 12:00pm: boat trip transfer to Cai Be harbor.
Transfer back to Saigon.
Dinner on boat on Saigon River.

Day 11: SAIGON – VUNG TAU (80km) (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Vung Tau. Arrival in Vung Tau. Check-in the room. Night in Ho Tram Vung Tau.
DAY 12: VUNG TAU
Breakfast at hotel. All day at leisure.
Night at hotel.

Day 14: VUNG TAU – SAIGON - SIEMREAP (B / - / D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Back to Saigon in the morning. Transfer to the airport for flight to Siemrieap. Arrival at REP Airport – Pick up & transfer to check in hotel for refreshment. We take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake visiting floating fishing villages complete with schools, restaurants and even a hospital. Tonle Sap is called the ‘Great Lake’ and is one of the two major topographical features of Cambodia. During the rainy season it can swell from 3,000sq km to 7,500sq km. Tonle Sap is one of the world’s richest sources of freshwater fish. If the time permit we will visit Wat Bo. Wat Bo is one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia and has a number of well-preserved wall paintings from the 19th century.

Day 15: SIEMREAP DEPARTURE (B / L / - )
Breakfast at hotel.
Full-day Angkor temple tour (Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat) . This Morning, you will visit the fortified city of Angkor Thom with its 2,000 enormous mysterious faces, starting at the Southern Gate, flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side. Next, you will visit the Bayon and its beautifully crafted central towers. The Bayon is decorated with extraordinary bas-reliefs incorporating over 11,000 figures. From here you visit Baphoun, Phimeanakas and the Elephant Terrace, used as a giant viewing stand for public ceremonies and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at Angkor Café Restaurant or with local family’s house.
Afternoon continue to visit Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple) and the magnificent Angkor Wat. Built in the 12th Century, the temple took 30 years to build and represents the Khmer civilisation at its grandest.

Day 16: SIEMREAP DEPARTURE (B / L / - )
After breakfast at hotel, visit Banteay Samre & Banteay Srei temple. On the way back, take a short break at a handicraft village. Lunch at Local Restaurant.
Transfer to REP Airport for the departure flight. End of service.
