Inle Lake Trekking to Taungoo
Day 1. Yangon (Rangoon) arrival (D)
Upon arrival, you will be welocmed by out tour guides and get a transfer to hotel. Start the journey with a walk through the streets of downtown Yangon, a diverse mix of street traders and small businesses set in architecture from the colonial past. Yangon has some incredible sights to see which include the world famous, Sule and Shwedagon Pagodas.

Day 2. Yangon - fly to Lake Inle (B)
Transfer to airport for flight to Heho in the morning. Enjoy a one-hour scenic drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to the lovely Inle Lake.
A private local motorboat will escort visitors to luxurious hotel for check in. Along the way, pass stilted villages, the leg-rowing Intha fishermen, and floating gardens anchored to the lake’s bottom with bamboo poles.
Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake's main sanctuary, before returning to the resort.
Afterwards, we will stop for a coffee break (client’s account) at Inthar Heritage House. Not only are the cakes and coffees delicious, but the house also has a superb display of information about traditional Inthar culture and history.
Return to hotel in time for sunset. This evening enjoy a traditional Shan Style dinner at hotel, served on lacquer plates.

Day 3. Lake Inle (B)
Spending wholde day in visiting villages around Lake Inle to see the various traditional crafts in action. Going by boat onto the lake to watch the fishermen use a unique method to catch fish in this very shallow lake. One of the highlights for many, is the visit to Red Mountain Vineyard and Winery to the north of Lake Inle, were you might be surprised how good the wines are.

Day 4. Lake Inle to Toungoo (B)
Start the day with a drive and a boat trip to Sanker Village, home of the Pa O people. Sanker village is located to the south of Lake Inle and is a really good opportunity to see life that hasn’t really seen many changes over the past 50 years, the area in covered in pagodas that date back 2,000 years. The go head toward Toungoo and again the journey by road will take about 5 hours, allowing to stop frequently along the way to see many original senses.

Day 5.Taungoo (B)
Visiting the Shwesandaw Pagoda in the city Centre which is guarded by two golden lions; this pagoda dates back to 1597. The next stop would be the Myasigon pagoda, best known for its glass mosaic and bronze images. Next, the Kaytumadi Palace which was bombed in the Second World War. The site is neglected and overgrown but gives you an idea of the importance the cities past in Burma’s history. Lunchtime and it’s got to be a trip to Lake Kandawgyi, a peaceful and tranquil setting to relax in, whilst sampling local foods.

Day 6.Taungoo to Yangon (B)
The road to Yangon from Taungoo is 150 miles and runs alongside the River Sittaung in a valley surrounded by foothills. This area is where most of the timber is taken from in Burma. Visitors can see many elephants and logging shelters as travelling along the road which can sometimes be in need of some TLC, but by now visitors should be used to the roads in Burma and happy that chosing to use our services as all vehicles are fitted with a fridge, air-conditioning and some of the latest forms of communication devices to ensure comfort.

Day 7. Yangon Departure (B)
The last few hours will be spent in and around hotel in Yangon; giving visitors time to reflect on adventure and buy those must have souvenirs.
